About the Firm:
A leading Sydney law firm with a strong focus on commercial litigation and insolvency is seeking a talented lawyer to join its growing team. Commercial and commercial litigation matters make up around 60% of the firm’s practice, with insolvency work feeding into a wide variety of industries. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a sophisticated, collaborative environment with long-term career progression.
Salary and Features of the Position:
Competitive salary commensurate with experience: $140,000 - $180,000 pending experience
Broad exposure to commercial litigation and insolvency matters across multiple industries
Work within a structured team comprising multiple partners, senior lawyers, junior lawyers, a law graduate, and paralegal support
Clear pathways for career development and progression
Sydney CBD location in a flexible, growth-oriented environment
About the Role:
You will:
Advise on commercial litigation, insolvency matters, and a wide range of commercial disputes
Manage files independently while collaborating closely with a supportive, structured team
Work alongside a team of partners and solicitors across varying levels of experience
Contribute to the growth and development of the commercial litigation practice
About You:
Minimum 5 years PAE in commercial litigation, insolvency, or related commercial practice
Strong analytical, drafting, and problem-solving skills
Commercially minded, proactive, and capable of working autonomously
Comfortable contributing positively to a collaborative, high-performing team
NSW practising certificate (or ability to obtain)
