Job Description

Our client is one of the leading Paediatric clinics in the Southwest Sydney area and is looking for 2 Occupational Therapists to join their multidisciplinary team. They have a strong focus on Continued Professional Development resulting in excellent clinical outcomes for children and their families. 

The successful applicants will enjoy a variety of working environments plus a healthy work-life balance with a structured induction program and extremely manageable caseloads. For New Graduates the company also has a structured New Graduate program giving you a wealth of support.

The Role
  • Paediatric caseload of developmental delay and/or disability 
  • Services include social skills, sensory processing, school readiness, fine and gross motor skills plus much more
  • Providing high-quality, evidence-based assessment and therapy
  • Report writing 
  • Providing instruction and education to clients, family, and caregivers
How you will be supported

Every staff member has a structured 2-week induction period which includes extensive training and shadowing of other therapists. You will have weekly supervision with a Senior Occupational Therapist with extensive experience. There is also a very gradual increase in clients seen per day so you don't feel overwhelmed and are on top of things. 

Each staff member is given a PD allowance of $1,000 plus 2 days study leave to pursue their areas of interest. The company also runs quarterly PD days to further develop your skills.

Requirements/Skills
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Full AHPRA registration
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • WWCC
  • Drivers license and own vehicle
  • All levels of experience are encouraged to apply
