Job Description

Are you an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist ready to take the next step into leadership?
  • Salary: $105,000 - $125,000 + Super + up to $18,500 in salary packaging benefits
  • Leadership Opportunity: Lead 5–6 OTs with reduced clinical targets and dedicated management time
  • Career Development: $3,000 annual CPD allowance, flexible working and a supportive multidisciplinary team
Join an established not-for-profit allied health organisation supporting children, young people and adults living with disability.

Why You'll Love This Role?
  • Competitive Salary: $105,000 – $125,000 + Super, depending on experience.
  • Salary Packaging: Access up to $18,500 annually in salary packaging benefits, with personalised support to maximise your take-home pay.
  • Reduced Clinical Targets: Approximately 3 days clinical and 2 days management, with billable expectations reducing as your team grows.
  • Established Team: Collaborate with Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, Behaviour Support Practitioners and Exercise Physiologists.
  • Professional Development: $3,000 annual CPD allowance, including leadership and supervision training.
  • Flexible Caseload: Mixed-age clients, with the ability to tailor your clinical focus and arrange predominantly clinic-based appointments.
  • Work-Life Balance: WFH options for administration, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
  • Facilities & Support: Purpose-built clinic with 7 treatment rooms, sensory room, gym and play spaces, free gym access, EAP and dedicated administrative support.
Your Role:

You'll lead 5-6 Occupational Therapists within a wider multidisciplinary team of approximately 25 healthcare professionals, combining clinical supervision, mentoring and team development with a reduced clinical caseload.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Senior OT ready to move into a formal leadership position.

Working closely with the Allied Health Manager, you'll:
  • Lead, supervise and mentor junior and early-career Occupational Therapists.
  • Provide clinical supervision, case reviews and professional development planning.
  • Oversee caseload allocation, workload management and clinical performance.
  • Review clinical reports, including Functional Capacity Assessments and assistive technology recommendations.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, clinical governance and service improvements.
  • Maintain a reduced clinical caseload, delivering evidence-based OT services.
As the team grows beyond 7 OTs, clinical targets can reduce to approximately 10 billable hours per week, allowing more dedicated leadership time.

About You:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.
  • Minimum 4 years' full-time clinical OT experience.
  • Strong paediatric clinical experience, with the confidence to support clinicians managing paediatric caseloads.
  • Experience supervising, mentoring or providing clinical guidance to other OTs.
  • Strong understanding of the NDIS, clinical reporting and evidence-based practice.
  • Excellent communication, clinical reasoning and organisational skills.
Previous Team Leader experience is highly regarded but not essential.

If you're a Senior OT already supporting junior clinicians and looking to step into formal leadership, we'd love to hear from you!
