Then apply for this role today! The position is based around you with caseloads across the Newcastle/Hunter and Central Coast regions plus an office in Warner's Bay. Full-time and part-time options available with flexibility in starting date.
What you will be doing:
- Clients may be funded privately or by home care packages, CHSP, DVA, CDM, Short Term Restorative Care, lifetime care and support, and the NDIS
- Conditions include but are not limited to: developmental delays, stroke, brain injuries, learning disability, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, dementia, post-operative plus much more
- Office, WFH and community working with your caseload created around your home location
- Evidence-based assessment and therapy for individuals with physical disabilities and elderly clients helping them to remain in their homes
- Liaising with other team members and external stakeholders
Why this role: - Earn between $70,000 - $108,000 + super
- Work collaboratively with 15 other Occupational Therapists as well as Speech Pathologists and Physiotherapists
- Weekly Professional Development sessions and team meetings
- Structured shadowing and induction period
- Mentoring either weekly or fortnightly with an Experienced Occupational Therapist
- Phone and Laptop provided
- Access to pool cars for full-time team members
- Ongoing support with an approachable and supportive management team
- No billable targets with a focus on quality therapy!
- Social events throughout the calendar year
- $1000 Professional Development allowance for external courses
- Focus on you and your development with career progression pathways to Senior and Team Lead positions
What you will need: - Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Full AHPRA registration
- Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
- Drivers licence and own vehicle
- Previous relevant experience (desirable)
