Job Description

Join a team of dedicated Allied Health professionals passionate about transforming the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, and Paediatric Psychologists provides clinic-based and community therapy services tailored to children aged 3-12 years. Specializing in ASD, they deliver individual and group therapy programs that focus on developmental and emotional well-being.

This is your chance to work in a purpose-built facility featuring a sensory room equipped with swings, hammocks, and other resources designed to foster play and desensitization in a supportive, therapeutic environment.

Option for full time or part time!

About the Role:
  • Provide assessments and tailored, evidence-based interventions to support children’s development in areas such as fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, cognitive skills, social development, and self-care routines.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional therapy outcomes.
  • Support paediatric clients, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Sensory Processing Disorders, using innovative therapeutic techniques.
  • Enjoy the flexibility of part-time or full-time work options, with opportunities for telehealth sessions and flexible working hours.
What's On Offer:
  • Attractive Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 + superannuation.
  • Manageable Caseload: Realistic billable expectations ensure a balanced workload.
  • Flexibility: Regular work hours (9–5), part-time options, telehealth availability, and a travel allowance for offsite work.
Professional Growth:
  • $1,000 annual Professional Development budget.
  • Paid report writing during work hours.
  • External supervision and training in Autism Assessments funded by the clinic.
  • Weekly supervision with the Lead Occupational Therapist and experience regular collaborative case conferences.

  • Insight into other Allied Health disciplines through multidisciplinary team meetings.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • AHPRA registration.
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience (experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder preferred).
