Our Cairns-based allied health client is seeking an experienced clinician who values
flexibility, collaboration and
work/life balance, and is enthusiastic about delivering quality care across regional and remote communities (by road and, at times, by air).
This isn’t a typical 9 to 5, some days are longer due to travel (by car or by plane), balanced with shorter days and later starts where appropriate, supported by strong systems to promote sustainability and prevent burnout.
Full time & Part Time Positions Available - Call 0468412394 for more info!Why You’ll LOVE this Role: - Caseload: 70% Paediatrics/30% Adult & Aged care. Scope to work with more aged care clients over the next 2-3 months. Holiday periods can include more assessment work (FCA’s, AT, risk/falls)
- Team: Join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team of 4 OT's (one working remotely), a Psych and a Speech, with regular touchpoints to stay connected. Quarterly team building day and regular staff social events.
- Support:
- $1200 CPD Allowance per year + 2 Days PD Leave
- Strong admin backing for scheduling and coordination, with caseloads actively monitored for sustainability
- Weekly, fortnightly or monthly supervision with a Senior OT in Cairns
- 24/7 on call support by leadership team (and Senior OT) whilst on regional work
- Once fortnightly team meetings at the clinic
- Career progression:
- Opportunities to take on supervision responsibilities as the team continues to grow, and contribute to projects within the team for quality improvement.
- Structured Onboarding with a 1-week induction and a gradual caseload build over 3 months (up to 6 months for early career clinicians), with frequent check-ins to set you up for success.

Requirements: - Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- AHPRA registration
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
