Summary

Join a leading national mental health services provider as a Clinical Psychologist! A highly rewarding community-based, mobile role.

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Psychologist for a flexible contractor opportunity across Metro Melbourne in mobile community settings.

This role suits a clinician who enjoys a blend of ASD, ADHD and cognitive assessments across the lifespan, alongside therapy within the disability space. With a 60% billing split, admin support and flexibility to complete clinical admin from home, this is a strong option for an experienced clinician wanting a portfolio style caseload.

What’s on Offer
  • 60% contractor split, creating a clear fee for service model with strong earning potential as referrals grow
  • Triage, intake and scheduling support, reducing admin burden so more time goes into clinical work and report writing
  • Flexible one day per week start, giving space to build a specialist caseload without needing a full diary from day one
  • Work across clinic and community settings in Metro Melbourne, broadening referral access and client variety
  • Blended assessment and therapy brief, helping the right psychologist build steadier demand across NDIS, Medicare and private streams
About the Employer / Practice
  • Allied health service provider with a predominantly NDIS caseload, plus capacity for Medicare and private clients, supporting diverse referral pathways
  • Organisation spanning across Psychology, Behaviour Support, Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy, creating a multidisciplinary setting that strengthens cross referral opportunities
  • Admin systems in place for initial triage, intake and scheduling, allowing contractors to focus on therapy, assessments and reporting
  • Mobile work required, offering a community focused model with flexibility for home based admin
Why Join?
This Psychologist opportunity suits someone who wants flexibility, meaningful NDIS work and the chance to deepen a niche in assessment and disability practice. The model offers autonomy without excessive meetings, while still providing access to a broader allied health environment and referral base.

Requirements
  • General or endorsed AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, with confidence working independently in community or disability settings
  • Strong capability in ASD, ADHD and cognitive assessments across the lifespan, ideally paired with therapy experience in intellectual disability, ABI or neurological presentations
  • Current driver licence and willingness to provide mobile services across Metro Melbourne
