Job Description

Join a team of assorted clinicians in a premier Wellbeing Centre as a Clinical Psychologist and provide exceptional therapy to adult clients with a range of mental health conditions.

Our client is seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join their passionate and growing team. As a Psychologist at this premier centre, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, treating clients with diverse mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression.

Key Benefits:
  • Remuneration: Earn a competitive rate of $140-$170 per session with the ability to determine your own fees if preferred.  
  • Support with Administrative Tasks: Administrative support including triaging of bookings, rescheduling of appointments and facilitating health care plans is provided to you as a clinician.
  • Dynamic Team: Work amongst a kinetic team of allied health professionals such as Physiotherapists, Dietitians and Pilates Instructors. 
  • Premises and Ideal Location: Fully resourced and superior space, located in Northcote and close to public transport.
  • Clientele: Working with adult clients from various backgrounds with conditions including, but not limited to Stress and Burnout, Body Image, Depression, Anxiety, Self-esteem and Identity Issues.

Your duties will include:
  • Provide remarkable therapeutic services to private clients or GP referrals with a significant portion of clients enrolled in Mental Health Care plans.
  • Collaborating occasionally with other colleagues in the centre to refer clients and provide exceptional personalised care.
  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with referring physicians and other allied health professionals.
  • Maintaining case notes, file management and ensuring compliance with all necessary legal and ethical standards.
Requirements/Skills:
  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology
  • AHPRA registration
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • Eligible to obtain Medicare provider numbers
