Job Description

Join a team of experienced clinicians in a highly regarded private practice as a Clinical Psychologist and provide exceptional therapy to clients across the lifespan with diverse presentations.

Our client is looking for an experienced and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join their growing team of clinicians at their location north of the Melbourne Central District. This role ensures you treat clients from all backgrounds with diverse presentations. This is an excellent opportunity to provide expert therapy to private, Medicare, TAC, Work Cover or Victims of Crime clients in a well established centre.

  • Amazing Administrative Support: Administration support including diary management, booking and rescheduling of all appointments is provided to you as a clinician so you can focus on providing expert therapy!

  • Office and Location: Fully furnished office with multiple therapy rooms, located just north of Melbourne's CBD and close to public transport.
  • Clientele: Working with clients of all ages with conditions including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Depression, Anxiety, Grief & Loss and other presentations.
Your duties will include:
  • Provide purposeful therapeutic services, including counselling and assessments such as Cognitive/Academic to clients through either Private, Medicare, TAC, Work Cover or Victims of Crime referrals depending on your preference.
  • Maintaining relationships and correspondence with referring doctors and other allied health practitioners.
  • Upkeep of your case notes, file management and the upholding of all required legal and ethical standards.
Requirements/Skills:
  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology
  • AHPRA registration
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • Eligible to obtain Medicare provider numbers
