Our client is seeking a dedicated and passionate Psychologist to provide vital mental health support to students within a well-established educational setting in Melbourne’s North West. This part-time opportunity (2 days per week) offers a rewarding mix of one-on-one therapeutic work and group facilitation within a supportive school community.

Position Highlights:
  • Flexible 2-day schedule during school hours – ideal for work-life balance or supplementing existing private practice work
  • Individual counselling focus – provide personalised support to students managing a range of emotional, behavioural and social challenges
  • Peer social group facilitation – develop and lead evidence-based programs to build resilience, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Light assessment duties – contribute to psychoeducational assessments as needed, with administrative support available
  • Collaborative school setting – work alongside wellbeing coordinators, learning support staff and leadership to ensure holistic student care
  • Long-term opportunity – potential to extend days or develop further programs as part of the school’s mental health initiative
About You:
  • Registered Psychologist with AHPRA
  • Experience working with school-aged children or in an educational environment
  • Confident facilitating small group sessions and working independently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
