Job Description

Are you a Clinical or Registered Psychologist looking to join a modern, spacious private practice with great amenities and a diverse team in Canberra?

Our client has recently refurbished their offices and are now looking to onboard a Psychologist to join their team of 16. The space is clean and warm, with breakout rooms for peer supervision and a communal lunch space to promote collaboration. There's even a pool table!

This is a flexible full or part-time opportunity to truly tailor your caseload, with the choice of assessment work, therapy work, or a mixture of the two with clients that align with your clinical interests and expertise.

Your duties will include:
  • Providing ongoing therapies to clients across the lifespan with a range of common mental health presentations
  • Conducting assessments (if desired)
  • Utilising a combination of evidence-based modalities to individualise therapy and treatment and promote best outcomes
  • Keeping detailed case notes, and maintaining confidential and ethical file management
  • Contributing to group sessions and maintaining good relationships with fellow clinicians
Requirements/Skills:
  • Tertiary Psychology qualification
  • AHPRA registration
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • Eligible to obtain Medicare Provider number
