Speech Pathologist | Paediatrics | West Melbourne

Our client is looking for a Speech Pathologist to join their growing paediatric team in Melbourne's western suburbs. Whether you're a new graduate or an experienced clinician, you'll be joining a welcoming clinic where collaboration, learning and quality therapy always come first.

About the Practice:
Our client is a well-established paediatric allied health clinic supporting children aged 1 to 13 years with a range of developmental presentations, including:
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • ADHD
  • Speech and language delays
  • Social communication difficulties
  • Neurodevelopmental differences
You'll work alongside a passionate multidisciplinary team including:
  • 8-10 Occupational Therapists
  • Occupational Therapy Assistants
  • Speech Pathologists
  • Speech Therapy Assistants
The clinic has built a fantastic reputation with local families through its warm, family-centred approach and collaborative style of therapy.

The Role:
You'll provide evidence-based therapy for a predominantly clinic-based paediatric caseload.

Your work will include:
  • Speech and language assessments
  • Individual therapy sessions
  • Parent coaching and education
  • School observations when required
  • Goal planning and report writing
  • Working collaboratively with Occupational Therapists and Therapy Assistants
Requirements
  • Degree qualification in Speech Pathology
  • Speech Pathology Australia membership (or eligibility)
  • Working rights in Australia
  • Passion for working with children and families
