About the position

Our client is looking for a General Dentist to work primarily across Mondays and Tuesdays, with excellent clinical support available across both days.

On Mondays, you will generally work alongside the Principal Dentist, giving you access to an experienced clinician for case discussions, treatment planning and day-to-day support. Every second or third Monday, the Principal Dentist may be working at another location, with an experienced hygienist onsite during those sessions.

On Tuesdays, you will work alongside another Dentist and a hygienist, creating a highly collaborative clinical environment with strong support throughout the day.

This structure is ideal for a Dentist who wants the independence to manage and grow their own patient base while still having regular access to experienced clinicians and hygiene support.

The role will involve general dentistry and the opportunity to perform treatments such as:

• Comprehensive examinations and preventative care
• Composite restorations and general restorative dentistry
• Crowns and bridges
• Root canal therapy
• Tooth extractions
• Teeth whitening
• Periodontal and hygiene-related care
• Emergency dental treatment

Key Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a Dentist
• Appropriate professional indemnity insurance
• Confidence providing general dental treatments
• Strong communication and patient management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with Dentists and hygienists
• A patient-focused and ethical approach to dentistry
• Motivation to build and maintain a loyal patient book
