WA Country Health Service is seeking Locum ED Doctors for regional Emergency Department cover across Western Australia.

This role suits senior ED doctors wanting locum work that can fit around permanent roles, family, leave, travel or other commitments.

Opportunities are available for FACEMs, SMOs and Senior ED Registrars PGY6+, with a mix of shift types across regional hospital sites.

Clinical Environment

• Regional ED settings across WA
• Primary doctor, secondary doctor, float and on-call shifts
• Day, evening and night shifts available
• Some inpatient ward cover may be available
• Supportive regional hospital teams
• Sites may include Northam, Narrogin and Merredin

Requirements

• Current AHPRA Registration
• Recent Emergency Medicine experience
• FACEM, SMO or Senior ED Registrar level experience
• Current CV
• Two professional referee reports from within the last 12 months
• At least one referee must be from a line manager, HOD or Medical Director

Benefits

• SMO / Senior ED Registrar rates from $2,000 – $2,500 per day
• FACEM rates from $2,700 – $2,900 per day

Referral Program

Also, if locum work isn’t for you at the moment but you know another doctor who may be interested, we do have a referral program. Successful referrals can receive a $1,100 prepaid gift card for non-specialist doctors, or $1,600 for specialist/consultant referrals, once the referred doctor has completed the required shifts.
