Hawkesbury Hospital is seeking a Locum General Medicine CMO, Registrar or SRMO to provide ward cover.

This role suits doctors wanting structured weekday-style locum work that can fit around study, training, family, travel or other commitments.

You will support ward-based care, patient reviews, clinical documentation, management planning and escalation of care when required.

Clinical Environment

• General Medicine ward cover
• Day shift coverage, generally 08:00 – 16:30
• Supportive hospital setting
• Escalation pathways available
• Re-allocation may occur during the shift if approved across all hospital areas

Key Duties

• Provide General Medicine ward cover
• Review patients and support management plans
• Complete documentation and handover
• Escalate clinical concerns appropriately
• Work collaboratively with nursing, allied health and medical teams

Requirements

• Current AHPRA Registration
• Recent General Medicine experience at CMO, Registrar or SRMO level
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work safely within scope
• Current CV, references and compliance documents as required
