This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Anaesthetics Registrar to take on flexible locum shifts in a well-supported setting with strong consultant supervision and a wide case mix.
 
The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Registrar in Anaesthetics to provide locum coverage within the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District.

Shifts are available across flexible dates from July to December 2025, with options for day, evening, and weekend coverage.

• Attractive daily or hourly rate (based on experience)
• Travel and accommodation included
• Work under the guidance of Specialist Anaesthetists and ICU teams
• Provide anaesthetic support across theatre, obstetrics, ED and ICU settings
• Exposure to regional trauma, obstetric emergencies, and complex surgical lists

This is a busy regional hospital with referral status, offering:

• A modern operating suite and perioperative services
• Multispecialty theatre lists, including orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, obstetrics, and gynaecology
• A collaborative team environment with educational opportunities
• Hands-on exposure to airway management, regional blocks, and advanced anaesthetic techniques

Eligibility Criteria:

• AHPRA Registration
• Minimum of 2 years’ Anaesthetics experience (PGY4+) preferred
• Current NSW Working with Children Check
• National Criminal Record Check
