Central Coast Local Health District is seeking experienced
Locum Emergency Medicine Registrars to support busy Emergency Departments across the region.
This role is ideal for PGY5+ doctors wanting to step into more senior ED responsibility while working in a location that offers both strong clinical exposure and coastal lifestyle appeal.
You will manage acute and complex presentations, support junior doctors where required and work with FACEMs, registrars, RMOs and experienced nursing teams.
Clinical Environment - Busy regional-metro ED settings
- In-charge and supervised shifts available, depending on site and roster
- Trauma, paediatrics, cardiac, resus and mental health presentations
- FACEM guidance and escalation support
- Modern electronic medical records and real-time triage systems
- Strong pathway for doctors developing senior ED capability
Requirements - AHPRA General or Specialist Registration
- PGY5+ with at least 12 months Emergency Medicine experience
- NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
- Willingness to complete onboarding and hospital credentialing
