Northern NSW Local Health District is seeking a Locum General Medicine Registrar to cover inpatient unit shifts in a regional hospital setting.

This role is ideal for a PGY3+ registrar wanting solid earning potential, broad ward-based medical exposure and paid shared on-call.

You will work as part of a rotating team of three registrars, supporting inpatient care, ward rounds, discharge planning and team coordination.

Clinical Environment

• Inpatient General Medicine ward cover
• Shifts generally 07:00 – 17:30
• Shared clinical on-call from 17:30 – 21:00
• On-call is rotated between three registrars
• Paid 1 hour at your locum rate when on-call, plus additional pay for calls or hospital return
• Support from Consultant Physicians, RMO teams and nursing staff

Requirements

• General or Provisional AHPRA Registration
• PGY3+ with General Medicine or Physician Training experience
• NSW Working with Children Check
• National Criminal Record Check
• Current CV, references and compliance documents as required
