The Opportunity:

The Western NSW Local Health District is seeking capable and motivated registrars across a variety of specialties — particularly General Medicine, Emergency, Paediatrics, and Surgery — to provide locum support across rural and regional hospitals.

These are ideal roles for PGY4+ doctors with strong clinical foundations and a sense of adventure. You'll gain excellent procedural and decision-making experience, often with a broader scope of practice than metro placements — all while earning significantly above standard registrar locum rates.
 
 
Clinical Environment:

• Diverse caseloads across inpatient, acute and ED settings
• Smaller hospitals where your input makes a visible impact
• Close collaboration with consultants and nursing teams
• Opportunity to take on leadership and supervision responsibilities (if senior)

 
Eligibility Criteria:

• AHPRA Registration
• PGY4+ with registrar-level hospital experience
• NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
