The Opportunity:

Western Sydney LHD is seeking General Medicine Registrars (PGY3+) to provide locum coverage in high-demand departments.
 
You’ll support acute medical admissions, inpatient wards, and consults under the guidance of experienced consultants, with opportunities for senior responsibilities based on experience.
 
Clinical Environment:

• Work in a busy, tertiary-level medicine unit with access to subspecialty support
• Exposure to a broad range of complex and acute general medical presentations
• Structured ward rounds, team-based care, and clear escalation pathways
• Build your skills in diagnostic reasoning, patient management, and handover
• Supportive of doctors working toward RACP Basic Physician Training or transition to advanced training

 
Eligibility Criteria:

• AHPRA General Registration
• PGY3+ with General Medicine experience
• NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
• Willingness to complete onboarding and credentialing

 
What’s Provided:

• Up to $180/hour, depending on shift type and experience
• Flexible shifts – weekdays, evenings, weekends
• End-to-end credentialing and scheduling support
