The Opportunity:

Murrumbidgee LHD is seeking experienced Anaesthetics Registrars and Consultants to provide locum cover across its regional hospitals.
 
Duties may include elective and emergency theatre, obstetrics, ICU support, and on-call responsibilities, depending on the site and roster.
 
Clinical Environment:

• Operate in well-equipped regional hospitals with modern theatres and dedicated anaesthetic teams
• Exposure to a mix of general surgery, obstetrics, orthopaedics, trauma, and procedural sedation
• Provide airway and emergency support for the ED and ICU as required
• Registrars work under specialist supervision, with opportunities for independent practice based on experience
• Consultants enjoy clinical autonomy with the support of experienced perioperative and theatre staff
• Enjoy a manageable caseload, strong interdisciplinary teamwork, and the chance to deliver care where it's truly needed

 
Eligibility Criteria:

• AHPRA General or Specialist Registration
• Current and unrestricted Australian working rights
• NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
• Willingness to complete onboarding and credentialing

• Up to $4,000/shift, depending on experience and scope
