About the Position:

Our client is seeking an experienced Principal Commercial Lawyer with a strong portable client base to take on a pivotal leadership role. You will drive commercial files with high levels of autonomy, bringing in your own matters while also leveraging the firm’s extensive network and support infrastructure.
You will work on a broad range of commercial matters including:

• Corporate advisory and structuring
• Shareholder and partnership agreements
• Business sales and acquisitions
• Commercial contracts and risk management
• Work with high-profile clients across industries such as FMCG, Manufacturing, Education, Healthcare, Agriculture, Technology, Government, and Start-ups.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior lawyer looking for a home where they can be supported to grow their existing practice while also mentoring emerging talent.


About You:

• 10+ years’ PAE in Commercial Law, with strong transactional and advisory experience.
• A proven client base of approximately $300K - $500K 
• A collaborative leadership style, with experience mentoring junior lawyers.
• A commercial mindset, with the ambition and drive to contribute to firm growth.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster long-term client relationships.
