About the position:

Our client is seeking a Commercial Lawyer to join their established team in a full-time capacity. You will be working closely with a highly experienced Partner, providing end-to-end legal advice on a wide range of commercial matters.
This role is particularly suited to lawyers with a strong interest or background in leasing – both commercial and retail – as you’ll play a key role managing files from initial instructions through to settlement and beyond. Your responsibilities will include:

• Drafting and negotiating commercial leases and contracts
• Advising clients on property development and structuring
• Handling commercial and residential conveyancing matters
• Providing strategic legal guidance to business clients

You’ll be part of a close-knit, high-performing team that values open communication and mentorship.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years PAE in Commercial Law
• Strong experience with QLD commercial and residential conveyancing
• Proficiency in QLD leasing (retail and commercial)
• Ability to provide clear, practical legal advice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A team player with strong organisational abilities
