Our client is seeking a skilled Lawyer or Associate with experience in workplace health and safety or employment law to join their growing Sydney practice. This is a unique opportunity to work within a specialist team led by experienced Partners and gain hands-on experience across a broad range of WHS issues.

About the Role: - Represent clients in regulatory investigations, WHS prosecutions, and coronial inquests
- Conduct and advise on workplace and incident investigations
- Provide strategic advice on psychosocial risks and WHS systems
- Work across matters relating to the Heavy Vehicle National Law and building safety issues
- Advise on workplace culture reviews and compliance frameworks
You will be working with an enviable client base that includes Commonwealth and State government departments, local councils, construction, transport, FMCG, food, and energy companies. Expect to handle work that is challenging, high-value, and often in the public eye.
The team is known for its supportive national structure, cross-border collaboration, and a culture that values autonomy and initiative while providing strong mentorship.
Key Requirements: - Minimum 2 years’ post-admission experience in WHS or employment law
- Exposure to, or strong interest in, regulatory investigations, inquests, and prosecutions
- Strong legal research, drafting, and advocacy skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to liaise directly with clients
- A collaborative mindset with a genuine interest in safety law and regulation
