Key Highlights of this role:

• Salary : $160,000 - $200,000 (with additional performance bonuses)

The Firm:

Our client is a specialist Commercial and Corporate law firm that is modern and fast expanding with stunning offices situated in a high end Sydney CBD location on Castlereagh Street. They have a team of 25 Lawyers with an additional administration and marketing team. 

About the Position:

Working closely with our Partners and collaborating with our associates, you will act for a range of clients, including some well-known franchises acting as primary legal point of contact in a broad range of commercial litigation matters with a focus on transactional, advice, and compliance work. The role encompasses a broad range of duties including:

• Serve as a primary contact for all Commercial Litigation matters, ensuring comprehensive and expert handling of cases.
• Draft, review, and provide advice on various commercial agreements and compliance issues, including franchise agreements, commercial leases, and retail leases.
• Prepare and assess litigation documentation, with prior experience in this area being highly advantageous.
• Mentor and manage junior solicitors, fostering their professional development and ensuring high standards of practice within the team.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Commercial litigation | 5-10 years + PAE 
• The ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Commercial acumen and the ability to work effectively with clients.
• Superior technical legal, analytical, research, communication, and drafting skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal and emotional intelligence.
• The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
