About the position: This is a unique opportunity to join a close-knit, high-performing litigation team led by one of Australia’s most respected names in the field. You’ll work directly with a Principal known for his strategic insight, legal precision and commitment to developing the next generation of legal leaders.
You will:
- Act on complex commercial litigation, insolvency and restructuring matters
- Manage end-to-end disputes involving company directors, financial advisors, and insolvency practitioners
- Provide strategic legal advice, including policy interpretation and board-level reporting
- Work closely with the Principal on high-profile, sensitive matters in state and federal courts
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to a team culture of excellence and support
- Be supported in practice development, including business growth and leadership opportunities
Key Requirements: - Minimum 4+ years PAE in commercial litigation, insolvency or financial disputes
- Ability to manage files independently with a proactive and commercial approach
- Outstanding drafting, advisory and analytical skills
- Strong ethical foundation and commitment to excellence
- Experience advising insolvency practitioners or boards is highly desirable
- A collaborative mindset with a passion for mentoring and leadership
- Ambition to grow into a senior leadership or partnership track role
