About the position:

This is a unique opportunity to join a close-knit, high-performing litigation team led by one of Australia’s most respected names in the field. You’ll work directly with a Principal known for his strategic insight, legal precision and commitment to developing the next generation of legal leaders.
You will:
  • Act on complex commercial litigation, insolvency and restructuring matters
  • Manage end-to-end disputes involving company directors, financial advisors, and insolvency practitioners
  • Provide strategic legal advice, including policy interpretation and board-level reporting
  • Work closely with the Principal on high-profile, sensitive matters in state and federal courts
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to a team culture of excellence and support
  • Be supported in practice development, including business growth and leadership opportunities

Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 4+ years PAE in commercial litigation, insolvency or financial disputes
  • Ability to manage files independently with a proactive and commercial approach
  • Outstanding drafting, advisory and analytical skills
  • Strong ethical foundation and commitment to excellence
  • Experience advising insolvency practitioners or boards is highly desirable
  • A collaborative mindset with a passion for mentoring and leadership
  • Ambition to grow into a senior leadership or partnership track role
