About the position:

This role is ideal for a mid-level lawyer looking to take ownership of files, build client relationships, and work across a diverse range of disputes—all without the commute to the CBD.
In this role, you will:

• Handle commercial litigation, probate disputes, contract claims, and construction matters
• Manage files from start to finish, including appearances, negotiations, and strategy
• Deliver timely, client-focused legal advice and litigation support
• Work closely with senior practitioners in a mentoring-focused team
• Contribute to client relationship building and business development initiatives
• Stay up to date with relevant legal developments and case law

Key Requirements:

• 3+ years of post-admission experience in litigation or general practice
• Proven ability to manage matters involving contracts, common law, probate, and construction
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills
• Confident working autonomously and within a supportive team
• NSW practising certificate and strong commitment to professional standards
• Local knowledge or a genuine interest in servicing the Sutherland Shire community is a bonus
