About the Client: Our client is a respected boutique law firm in Brisbane, known for its strong focus on the Chinese-speaking business and property community. The firm offers expert legal services across property, commercial, migration, litigation, estates, and notarial matters.

Their culturally diverse team speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, Shanghainese, and English — allowing them to deliver high-quality legal support tailored to clients’ language and cultural needs.

About the Role: An opportunity now exists for a Property Lawyer fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese to join our client’s growing team.

You’ll manage a variety of files including commercial and residential transactions, leasing, and off-the-plan matters. With clients ranging from SMEs to Chinese multinationals, your ability to communicate clearly and professionally in Chinese will be key to building strong, long-term relationships.

Key Requirements:
  • 4+ years' PAE in Property Law (private practice experience needed)
  • Fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese
  • Solid experience in property transactions and leasing
  • QLD practising certificate
  • Strong drafting and client management skills
