Sonographer - Contract - Regional Vic

The successful candidate will be a competent and proficient practitioner, responsible for delivering high-quality ultrasound services while working collaboratively with radiologists and fellow sonographers.
 
You will independently perform a broad range of ultrasound examinations and operate ultrasound equipment and information systems (RIS/PACS)
 
Responsibilities

• ultrasound examinations across multiple specialties
• examinations based on clinical presentation and patient condition
• ultrasound equipment operations
• Collaborate closely with on-site radiologists

Duties

• General ultrasound
• Vascular
• Musculoskeletal
• Obstetrics & Gynaecology
• Small parts
• Three ultrasound rooms equipped with Philips EPIQ Elite and Philips Elite systems

Criteria

• Postgraduate qualification in Ultrasound
• Current ASAR registration
• Demonstrated competency across agreed ultrasound areas
• Excellent time management, communication skills and professionalism
• 5+ years post-graduate experience
• CT and/or X-ray experience
• AHPRA registration
• Victorian Radiation Use Licence
