We’re working with an incredible allied health provider near Margate offering something truly different- nature-based, child-led paediatric OT that blends evidence-based practice with outdoor, play-focused environments.
- Salaries: $85,000 - $115,000 + Super depending on experience
- Paediatric Caseload (ages 18 months to 16 years), Hybrid Work Model (80% on site, 15% Community, 5% Outreach)
- Nature-Based Therapy: facilitate child-led sessions using the outdoors as your therapy space to inspire engagement and progress.

Why You’ll Want to Work Here: - Therapy with Purpose: You’ll still use all the clinical tools and assessments you know- but you’ll deliver intervention in a space where children regulate faster, engage deeper, and learn through doing. From gardening and mud play to fireside chats in winter and tool use, the setting is rich, relaxed, and responsive.
- Support for Experienced Clinicians: Expect a warm, gradual induction, extensive shadowing, and fortnightly or monthly 1:1 supervision with a Senior OT (9+ years' experience).
- Work Flexibility: Flexible hours: early or late starts/finishes, 4-day week, or 9-day fortnight. WFH Option for admin tasks - structure your week so you have 1 non client facing day for admin.
- New Graduate Support: Weekly 1:1 supervision, lots of workshadowing opportunities with experienced OT's, a gradual increase of caseload from when you start.
- Admin Support: Admin team takes care of service agreements, bookings & billings. You'll also get access to a huge resource library, reporting templates, and PercyAI to speed up your admin.
- Fleet Vehicle Access: Option to use a fleet vehicle for community visits, or use your own car and be reimbursed 98c per km.
- Opportunities Beyond the Clinic: Interested in working with First Nation communities? Support the outreach of the Kindy Uplift Program in remote locations including Palm Island, Mount Isa and Townsville if you wish.
- Values-Driven, Collaborative Team: Join a supportive team of passionate OTs with 2 to 30+ years of experience. You’ll collaborate with clinicians who specialise in attachment and relationship-based therapy-plus you'll work alongside co-located professionals like psychologists, counsellors, support coordinators, and paediatricians.
- Career Progression: Opportunities to take on leadership responsibilities or specialise & lead internal projects for quality improvement.
About the Role - Caseload: Work with children aged 18 months to 16 years predominantly with neurodivergence (ASD, ADHD, ADD, Sensory needs)
- Individual 1:1 and small group sessions & school holiday programs
- KPI's: 4.5 Billable Target per day (gradually increasing to this during induction)
- Opportunities to do parent/staff coaching and school consults
- Clinical focus on intervention over reporting
- Structure onboarding process: includes shadowing, gradual increase of caseload and lots of support from the team
Requirements: - Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- AHPRA registration
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Drivers licence and own vehicle
