Job Description

Our client is opening a brand-new allied health clinic designed to bring high-quality, holistic therapy services together under one roof around Guildford.

Founded by three experienced professionals, including an OT Director, Exercise Physiologist and Teacher, this clinic has been created with families, clinicians and long-term outcomes in mind. With personal experience navigating therapy needs for children and families, the founders are passionate about building a space where clients can access multiple therapies in one place, without the stress of travelling from appointment to appointment.

The clinic is currently undergoing renovations and is due to open in a few weeks. The team is now looking for experienced clinicians who are confident, ethical, family-focused and excited to be part of something from the ground up.

Benefits
• Contractor role with competitive rates of $100–$115 per hour + super
• Brand-new clinic with purpose-built therapy spaces
• Paediatric-focused caseload with the ability to shape your diary
• Work closely with experienced OT and EP Directors
• Strong work-life balance with no micromanagement
• Opportunity to grow into leadership or management as the clinic scales
• Long-term growth plans, including a second clinic
• Supportive, family-friendly and ethical working environment
• Flexible approach to caseloads, hours and future hybrid work
• Opportunity to be part of a clinic from launch and help shape its culture

About the Role
As a Speech Pathologist, you will work with a caseload tailored towards your interests.

The role will be clinic-based, allowing you to settle into the team, build relationships and support the clinic’s opening phase. As the clinic grows, there will be scope to introduce hybrid or community-based work depending on client needs and your preferences.

Caseloads will be built around each clinician’s interests, experience and availability. You will manage your own diary, liaise with carers and participants, and have the autonomy to structure your work in a way that supports strong outcomes and sustainable practice.

This role would suit an Occupational Therapist who can hit the ground running, is comfortable with the natural teething stages of a new clinic, and genuinely wants to contribute to a positive, long-term team culture.

Clinic Facilities
The new clinic will include:
• 2 dedicated Occupational Therapy rooms
• 2 speech therapy rooms
• A wet kitchen for food therapy
• A gym space
• Hydrotherapy pool
• 2 physio beds
• Staff room upstairs
• Board room
• Space for clinicians to work comfortably and collaboratively

Support Available
You will be working alongside experienced allied health professionals, including an Occupational Therapist Director and Exercise Physiologist Director, with internal support available as the team grows.

In the first 4 weeks, the clinic is looking for clinicians who are confident enough to hit the ground running, while still being open to collaboration, shadowing where relevant, and supporting a smooth launch.

There is strong scope for experienced clinicians to step into senior, leadership or management pathways as the business expands.

Team Culture
This is not just a business. The founders are building a family-friendly, holistic and ethical clinic where clinicians genuinely enjoy coming to work.
The current team is warm and thoughtful, so they are very open to someone with personality, character and confidence who can bring energy to the space.
There is no micromanagement. The team wants practitioners who are trusted, motivated and passionate about doing quality work with families.

Requirements
• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
• AHPRA registration
• Ability to work independently as a contractor
• Ethical, client-centred and family-focused approach
• Confidence managing your own diary and caseload
• Open to being part of a growing clinic in its early stages

Apply Now
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced OT who wants more than just a caseload. You will have the chance to join a brand-new clinic, help shape its culture, work with strong clinical leaders and grow with the business long-term.
