Job Description

This family owned and operated Allied Health Clinic located in Bundamba region specialises in Early Intervention- treating Paediatric clients presenting with conditions such as - Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Intellectual Disability and physical, social and emotional health conditions.

Offering over 70 hours of internal professional development training from external speakers and specialists in their field, with an additional $1500 Professional Development allowance, 2 days PD leave, 1 hour minimum weekly supervision from an internal and external supervisor PLUS an on site mentor! 

With resident therapy animals; Rosie the Therapy dog and Fishy friends in the reef themed fish tank, this incredible clinic has some truly incredible facilities; such as a sensory room, stand alone therapy gyms, interactive technology and smartboards, a commercial kitchen and a great resource library- feel supported when administering therapy to your Paediatric patients. 

Full time and Part Time roles available. All levels of experience encouraged to apply!

What you will be doing

  • Working in a Paediatric Allied Health Clinic located in the Bundamba Region QLD
  • Assessing and treating children in a predominantly clinic based setting
  • Conducting the occasional community trips to patient's schools and homes when required (no more than 30mins drive from Clinic)
  • Prescribing and implementing modifications that support your patients treatment
  • Engaging in regular Occupational Therapy specific upskilling through regular team meetings
  • Writing progress reports and communicating necessary information to patients families and caregivers

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • AHPRA registration
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia 
  • Drivers license and own vehicle
