Our client is a specialised allied health provider, seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join their vibrant team in Hoppers Crossing.

Job Description

Our client is a renowned health provider located in Hoppers Crossing, boasting a holistic and spirited team of four Occupational Therapists who primarily work with children diagnosed with ASD, ADHD and global developmental delays. This group of therapists, assisting children aged 2-12 with no physical disabilities, split their time between in-clinic work and visiting schools and homes.

Equipped with laptops and phones, staff balance their work hours with home life, wrapping up appointments by 3PM. Our client appreciates the value of informal sessions and team meetings, promoting a culture of learning with an annual $1000 PD allowance and numerous study leave days

Your role will consist of:

Being an Occupational Therapist with our client is about making a tangible difference without sacrificing work-life balance. You'll collaborate with other therapists, schools, and families to build individualised care plans, focusing predominantly on children up to age 12 with ASD, ADHD, and global developmental delays.

Sixty percent of your time will be spent in the clinic in Hoppers Crossing, and the remainder will involve school or home visits scheduled around your location. The role also includes writing reports, client-based work, and participating in team meetings for knowledge exchange and support.

How you will be supported
  • Reasonable KPIs and working hours are expected 
  • Supervision provided weekly or fortnightly depending on experience
  • Emphasis on work/life balance and avoiding burnout - generally all appointments are finished by 3PM
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year postgraduate experience
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Drivers license and vehicle
  • AHPRA registration
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
