Your role will consist of:

• Assisting NDIS and private paediatric clients from ages 0-18
• Caseload predominantly made up of clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder, neuro developmental issues, and other academic challenges
• See no more than 4 clients per day after induction
• Work from their clinic in North Melbourne or from schools and kindergartens in the local area
• Allocated time for report writing, supervision and projects
• Be part of daily check ins as well as weekly team meetings to ensure you are able to feel well supported
• Following induction period see up to 4 client per day

How you will be supported:

• Structured induction period with a gradually increasing caseload
• All clients are team-managed, and caseloads are small to avoid overwork and isolation!
• Support from wonderful admin staff and industry experts for team supervision and mentoring
• Weekly supervision from an OT with 20+ years experience
• Daily team meetings to discuss learning points and cases
• Collaborative team approach with all therapists working together
• Paediatric caseload primarily ASD and developmental delays 
• Induction and shadowing period with your caseload gradually increasing

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year  postgraduate experience
• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
• AHPRA registration
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia 
• Experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder preferred
