Assisting clients ranging from all ages and abilities, this industry leading community provider provides Occupational Therapy services to elderly clients in the Home Care Package space.

Contractor role with a minimum of 2 days per week!

About the role:

• Travel to clients will be limited around the eastern suburbs
• Community role seeing home care package elderly clients
• Home functional assessments, report writing, scope of works, equipment prescription and providing education to stakeholders
• Work with clients in clinic and perform 1:1 therapy focusing on developing motor skills, functional capacity, capacity building and skill development
• Completing report writing from home or their office in Footscray

Support structure includes:

• Receive peer support within your team from Senior OT's
• Education days once per month focusing on complex cases or with external guest speakers
• Fortnightly discipline specific team meetings
• Monthly presentations by senior clinicians to share knowledge and learning

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year postgraduate experience
• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
• Drivers license and vehicle
• AHPRA registration
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia
