This community based provider are expanding their home care packages team and are seeking an Occupational Therapist to assist clients in the east.
Our client is expanding their services and is on the lookout for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their dedicated team in Melbourne's south east. Focusing on Home Care Package clients, they are committed to delivering high-quality care and making a significant impact on their elderly clients.
You will conduct initial assessments for Home Care Package clients, evaluating their mobility and providing recommendations for assistive technology and home modifications. Clear and open communication with case managers and families is at the heart of this role, ensuring that each client receives compassionate and expert care.
About the role: - Occupational Therapy services to elderly home care package clients includes conducting initial assessments, evaluating their mobility and providing recommendations for assistive technology and home modifications
- Service clients around Melbourne's south eastern areas with travel limited to within a 30 minute radius from your home
- Receive support from experienced team leaders and participate in regular internal case conferences and external PD
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists
The Perks:
- Salary of $85,000 - $110,000 + super
- Travel reimbursement per km
- Annual PD allowance of $1500

Requirements: - Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- AHPRA registration
- Drivers license and vehicle
- Minimum 1 year postgraduate experience
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
