Become a Clinical Psychologist in a private practice focused on providing individualised care to NDIS, TAC, and Private clients across the lifespan

Job Description

Work in a private practice with premises in both Carnegie and Berwick as a Clinical Psychologist and provide personalised and evidence-based therapy to paediatric and adult clients with Autism, ADHD, and see conditions including anxiety, depression and trauma. Choose to work part-time from 2 days a week with the option to increase days as your caseload builds.

Benefits:
  • Multiple remuneration options available - have the flexibility to choose from a permanent salary ($90k-$110k plus superannuation per annum) or subcontracting ($117-$141 per session) arrangement.
  • Receive full support with administrative tasks such as booking and rescheduling of appointments and billings is provided to you as a clinician.
  • Collaborate with a team of Psychologists who support each other by engaging in regular formal and unformal meetings, peer supervision, team dinners and team building activities.
  • Treat a range of paediatric and adult referrals from all major referral stream who are neurodiverse or have conditions such as depression, trauma, anxiety and more.
  • Broaden your practice and work with a varied caseload - provide therapy and conduct ADHD and learning assessments if desired.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide therapy to a range of clients from various referral streams.
  • Conduct ADHD, Autism and learning assessments.
  • Building and maintaining relationships and correspondence with referring doctors and other allied health practitioners.
  • Upkeep of case notes, file management and the upholding of all required legal and ethical standards.
Requirements/Skills:
  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology
  • AHPRA registration
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • Eligible to obtain Medicare provider numbers
