Job Description

Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paediatric Psychologist to become a valued member of a thriving private practice specialising in early intervention and developmental support for children and adolescents.

About the Role:

This is an outstanding opportunity for a psychologist passionate about working with children from early childhood through to adolescence. You’ll enjoy a steady and varied caseload, ongoing peer collaboration, and a supportive admin structure that allows you to focus on what you do best, delivering meaningful outcomes for young clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions for children and adolescents with a wide range of presentations including:
    • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
    • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
    • Anxiety and mood disorders
    • Learning and behavioural difficulties
  • Collaborate closely with families, educators, and allied health professionals to support holistic outcomes
  • Contribute to diagnostic assessments and intervention planning, with support from experienced clinicians
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to team meetings and case conferences

Ideal Candidate:
  • Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA (Clinical endorsement or registrar program support available)
  • Experience or a strong interest in paediatric and adolescent mental health
  • Confident with delivering assessments, including ADOS, WISC-V, and other relevant tools
  • A warm, empathetic approach to working with children and their families
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
