Be part of a multi-disciplinary allied health team in a Southwest Melbourne clinic providing holistic care to a range of clients across the lifespan.

Job Description

As providers of Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, and Psychological services, this clinic caters to diverse clinical presentations both in-clinic and community settings. Their team of over 10 staff includes Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists who engage in collaborative and supportive working relationships.

Our client's Psychologist role involves a varied caseload including NDIS and TAC clients. The prospective candidate will be providing therapies across a range of clinical presentations, including but not limited to ASD, ADHD, PTSD, Anxiety Disorders and Substance Abuse.

  • Location: Spend approximately 80% of your time working from a well set up clinic located in Southwest Melbourne with the remainder of your time spent doing community visits no further than 25 minutes from your home.

Your duties will include:
  • Deliver personalised therapy, including counselling and assessment to clients through TAC, NDIS or private referrals 
  • Carrying out community visits as part of your role
  • Maintaining relationships and correspondence with referring doctors and other allied health practitioners.
  • Upkeep of case notes, NDIS reports, file management and the upholding of all required legal and ethical standards.
Requirements/Skills:
  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology
  • AHPRA registration
  • Experience working with NDIS clients previously
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • Eligible to obtain Medicare provider numbers
