Work in a team of 11 Psychologists providing therapy and assessment to clients across the lifespan. Training & admin support provided.
A well-established private practice in South Eastern Melbourne is looking to add a passionate, pro-active Psychologist to the team of 11. The practice is across two locations with on-site admin at both sites. Clinician wellbeing is at the heart of the practice, with the role being tailored to fit the Psychologist rather than seeking a Psychologist to fit the role.
This is a part-time in-clinic position across 3 days per week. Unfortunately, Provisional Psychologists cannot be considered at this time.
Key Benefits:
- Lucrative Remuneration: Take home a highly competitive salary, starting from $50/hr for new grads.
- Admin Support: Both sites benefit from on-site administrative support, allowing clinicians to focus on session work.
- Diverse Caseload: The practice sees clients across the lifespan, presenting with Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Neurodiversity, Addiction, and more complex cases if desired.
- Plentiful Referrals: Multiple referral pathways, including Medicare, WorkSafe, DVA, TAC and EAP.
- Great Culture: Clinicians are scheduled to ensure no-one is ever alone in the building, and the practice manager is passionate about preventing clinician burnout with mandated lunch breaks. There is scope for both independent practice and community.
- Professional Development: Benefit from a $1000 PD allowance (pro rata).
Your duties will include:
- Providing therapeutic support and/or assessment to clients across the lifespan including children.
- Conduct assessments (training provided).
- Contributing to peer supervision and engaging with the wider team of Psychologists and Mental Health Social Workers.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential session notes.
Requirements/Skills: - Tertiary Qualification in Psychology
- Full AHPRA Registration as a Registered or Clinical Psychologist
- Experience providing therapy and assessment to children and adolescents would be highly beneficial
- Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
