Job Description

Join a well-established paediatric clinic in Aspley with a strong local reputation, a supportive culture, and a commitment to high-quality care. You'll be mentored by a highly experienced team of Speech Pathologists with 5, 18, and 20 years of paediatric expertise, dedicated to helping you grow with confidence.
  • Salaries from $80,000 - $100,000 + Super - depending on experience
  • Paediatric Caseload - 90% Clinic based at Aspley, with some travel required
  • Incredibly experienced and supportive team + a $3000 CPD Allowance & PD Leave

Support on Offer:
  • Supportive Grad Start: Begin with a gentle caseload- just 2 billable hours a day- and gradually increase to 3.5/day after 3 months, with a maximum of 4 day at the 6 month mark. You’ll have time to learn, plan, and grow at your own pace. 
  • Weekly 1:1 Supervision: Get dedicated support from a highly experienced Speech Pathologist (18 years’ experience), plus regular peer connection within a close-knit team of highly experienced SP's.
  • Well-Resourced Environment: Work in a spacious, purpose-designed clinic with individual and group therapy rooms, sensory seating, extensive assessment tools, and therapy resources “to the roof”.
  • Admin Support - Offsite but Always There: Full-time admin team manages billings, invoicing, scheduling, and more- so you can focus on client care.
  • Protected Time: Enjoy minmum 2 hours per week of protected billable non-face-to-face time for planning, reporting, and parent communication.
  • Generous PD & Leave: Access $3,000 CPD allowance annually + 3 paid days of PD leave. Plus, shared PD each school holidays with the team to keep you connected and learning.
About the Team & Culture:
  • Experienced & Accessible Leaders: You'll work alongside 3 other SPs with 5, 18, and 20 years of experience. The clinic is led by an SP who is actively involved in supervision and support.
  • Collaborative & Social: We value connection and wellbeing. Enjoy end-of-term social events (think massages, lunches, and facials), strategic planning days during school holidays, and plenty of opportunities to debrief and learn from peers.
  • Quality Over Quantity: No pressure for excessive billables. Our focus is consistency, care, and building great therapeutic relationships.
Your Role:
  • Client Base: Mix of self-managed NDIS (65%), Medicare and private clients (35%)
  • Paediatric Focus (0-12 years): Early intervention and primary school-aged caseload. A generalist model incorporating speech and language, AAC, apraxia, literacy, social communication, gestalt language processing, early ADHD/ASD, and more.
  • Clinic-Based with Local Community Reach: Predominantly clinic-based services in Aspley, with local mobile visits (within 15km) and telehealth options for flexibility.
  • Hours: Flexible start/finish times can be arranged around your preferences
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
  • SPA membership
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia 
  • Drivers license and own vehicle
  • Genuine interest in paediatrics and early intervention
  • Eager to learn, collaborate, and grow in a supportive team
  • Committed to delivering high-quality, client-centred care
