near Eagleby, delivering evidence-based speech pathology across clinic and community settings.
Key Highlights: - Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 + Super
- Caseload: AAC, dysphasia, speech language, voice, fluency, and swallowing (can be tailored to your interests - paediatric only, adult only, or mixed ages)
- Funding mix: NDIS 90% / 5% Private & 5% Medicare
- Hybrid role: Mix of clinic and community (depends on caseload split)
- KPI: 25 billable hours per week (gradual increase for Graduates)
- CPD: $2,000 allowance + 4 days PD leave
Why You’ll Love this Role: - Strong clinical leadership & support: Team Lead Speech Pathologist with 16+ years’ experience, plus two Speech Pathologists (8+ years and 3+ years) and one AHA (Speech Pathology). The wider MDT includes 8 Occupational Therapists.
- Supportive team culture: A collaborative environment with consistent support, teamwork, and shared problem-solving across disciplines.
- Structured supervision & meetings: Gradual increase of caseload as your confidence develops, with work shadowing opportunities and 1:1 supervision (weekly, fortnightly, or monthly). Weekly discipline-specific meetings, alternating with fortnightly MDT meetings.
- Modern Clinic: 4 therapy rooms, a large boardroom suitable for group sessions, open plan office, kitchen & cupboards full of resources.
- Career Progression: Opportunities to supervise juniors, take on quality improvement projects for the service or specialise.
Induction & Onboarding:
A structured onboarding approach including work shadowing to learn the business, policies and processes, induction into SPLOSE (CRM), and an introduction to NDIS processes. Learning is typically most intensive in the first 2-4 weeks, including work shadowing senior clinicians (including senior OTs).
Travel Support: - Access to 8 fleet vehicles for therapist use
- Option to use your own vehicle with a logbook, reimbursed at $0.98 per km each pay cycle
Requirements: - Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
- SPA membership
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Drivers license and own vehicle
