About the Role - Lead and manage a dedicated adult therapy service, backed by an established client base, resources, and a supportive leadership team.
- Deliver high-quality assessment and intervention for clients experiencing communication and swallowing difficulties due to neurological conditions, stroke, brain injury, and degenerative diseases.
- Enjoy a hybrid clinic and mobile role with a dedicated clinic space, plus outreach to group homes, nursing homes, retirement villages, and hospitals.
- Work with flexible scheduling and potential work-from-home arrangements.

Key Responsibilities - Assess, diagnose, and treat adult speech, language, fluency, and swallowing disorders using evidence-based practices.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans in collaboration with clients, caregivers, and other professionals.
- Educate clients, families, and community staff on communication strategies and swallowing safety.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Provide training to staff and service providers in group homes and nursing facilities.
- Build and grow the adult clinic service, collaborating on business development initiatives.
- Contribute to policy and procedure updates to ensure ongoing quality improvement.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff.

Essential Criteria - Bachelor of Speech Pathology (or equivalent), with SPA membership/CPSP status or eligibility.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with adult populations in clinical, rehab, hospital, or community settings
- Current Driver’s License and vehicle
