Job Description

Are you a recent Speech Pathology graduate ready to make a meaningful impact? This is your opportunity to begin your career in a paediatric clinic that genuinely understands what early career support should look like.

From your first day, you'll be welcomed into a team that prioritises your learning and wellbeing. With structured supervision, hands-on shadowing, and a caring multidisciplinary team around you, you'll have the tools and guidance to grow with confidence.

Why This Role is Perfect for New Graduates:
  • $78,000 – $82,000 + Superannuation
  • Comprehensive New Grad Program: Includes weekly 1:1 supervision, observation opportunities, and a gradual caseload ramp-up
  • Team Lead & External Supervisor Support: You're never alone – there's always someone to help you problem-solve or celebrate wins
  • Weekly Clinical Huddles & Learning Groups: Learn collaboratively and feel connected from day one
  • Beautiful, Well-Equipped Clinics: Work in modern therapy spaces with sensory gyms and everything you need to thrive
  • Flexible Work Options: Primarily clinic-based (80%+), with home, kinder, or school visits optional based on your interests
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Deliver fun, engaging therapy and assessments for kids aged 2–18
  • Work with a caseload shaped around your passions – whether it’s speech and language, social skills, or emotional regulation
  • Collaborate with a warm and supportive team including OTs, psychologists, music therapists, AHAs, and more
  • Choose between working in either Box Hill North or Glen Waverley
What Support Looks Like for You:
  • Gradual Caseload Increase: Build your confidence over 2–3 months, not overnight
  • Flexible Hours: Part-time options available (minimum 3 days/week)
  • Mentoring Culture: Team leads, senior clinicians, and your own external supervisor available for regular support
Meet Your Team:
  • Join a collaborative team of 7 Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and AHA's
  • Be part of a clinic that supports students and early career clinicians through programs like AHA early-entry pathways
  • Enjoy professional and social events – think CPD workshops, team dinners, and guest speakers
  • Stay inspired in a team that’s known for low turnover and a strong sense of connection
What You’ll Need:
  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
  • Current CPSP registration with Speech Pathology Australia (or pending)
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
