About the Position Our client is looking for a passionate and motivated Oral Health Therapist (OHT) or Dental Hygienist to join our clients' team on a part-time basis, working just 1–2 weekdays per week.

This is a predominantly hygiene-focused position, ideal for someone who enjoys preventative dentistry, providing thorough patient care and helping patients achieve long-term oral health.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Performing comprehensive dental check-ups and professional cleans
• Providing scaling, polishing and preventative dental treatments
• Educating patients on oral hygiene and effective home-care routines
• Delivering periodontal maintenance and ongoing preventative care
• Performing basic restorative treatments, including fillings, where applicable to your qualifications and scope of practice
• Building positive relationships with patients and ensuring a comfortable dental experience
• Working collaboratively with a supportive dental team

For Oral Health Therapists, full adult restorative scope is not required. The practice is primarily seeking someone confident in performing check-ups, cleans and preventative dental treatments.

Key Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as an Oral Health Therapist or Dental Hygienist
• Confidence in performing routine check-ups, cleans and hygiene treatments
• Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
• A friendly, professional attitude and commitment to quality patient care
• Full adult restorative scope is not essential for OHT applicants
