Our client is an established, modern 4-chair dental practice offering a broad range of general and advanced dental treatments. The practice has built a collaborative multidisciplinary team comprising Principal Dentists, an OHT, Dentist and additional clinicians.
With modern technology including Airflow and CBCT, the practice provides an excellent clinical environment for an experienced Dental Hygienist or OHT who enjoys variety, autonomy and working closely with dentists across different areas of care.

About the position

Our client is looking for a confident Dental Hygienist or OHT with extended scope to join our clients' team on a part-time basis, working three full days per week.
Hours are approximately 9:30am–6:00pm, with flexibility available around which three days you work.
You will step into an established position with full patient books from commencement and your own treatment room. OHTs will also benefit from dedicated Dental Assistant support.

The role offers broad clinical exposure and the opportunity to work to an extended scope while helping the dentists manage an established patient base. Depending on your qualifications and experience, your clinical mix may include:

• Preventive care, examinations, scaling and periodontal maintenance
• Restorative treatment including composite fillings
• Orthodontic maintenance for fixed braces and clear aligners
• Supporting patients undergoing implant treatment
• Oral hygiene education and ongoing periodontal care
• Working collaboratively with dentists on comprehensive treatment plans

This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who enjoys having responsibility for their own patients while remaining part of a supportive and experienced dental team.

Key Requirements

• Qualified Dental Hygienist or Oral Health Therapist
• Current AHPRA registration
• Appropriate professional indemnity insurance
• Confidence working independently within your clinical scope
• Strong clinical and patient communication skills
• Interest or experience in restorative and extended-scope treatment
• Comfortable working within a multidisciplinary dental team
• Experience with orthodontic maintenance is highly regarded
