About the position Our client is looking for an Oral Health Therapist to take ownership of patient care across a busy, high-quality clinical schedule. This role starts at
4 days per week, with a clear pathway to grow into a
full-time (5-day) week over time.
You’ll work with a
large paediatric patient base, while also having the opportunity to expand into broader adult scope depending on your preference and experience.
Scope includes: - Hygiene and periodontal maintenance (including scaling and supportive therapy)
- Preventative dentistry (OHI, fluoride, fissure sealants, risk management)
- Restorative treatment within scope (e.g., composite fillings)
- Paediatric-focused care (behaviour guidance, prevention-first treatment plans)
- Diagnostic support (radiographs and imaging—licence required)
With equipment upgrades underway—including a
scanner,
Invisalign rollout, and
Airflow unit—this is a great opportunity for an OHT who enjoys contemporary dentistry and quality outcomes.
Key Requirements - Qualification as an Oral Health Therapist (AHPRA registered)
- Radiation and imaging licence (required)
- Confidence delivering hygiene, preventative and restorative care within scope
- Enjoyment of paediatric dentistry (large child patient base)
- Full adult scope preferred, but not essential
- Strong communication and patient-centred approach
On offer Our client offers a package designed to attract high-calibre clinicians and support a smooth transition:
- Pay: $80/hour permanent or $100/hour casual
- Hours: 7.5 to 8-hour days, Monday to Friday (pro rata)
- Start: 4 days/week, with a plan to build to a 5th day over time
- Relocation support: two months’ rental support + plane tickets paid for
- High-end clinical environment with autonomy and responsibility
