Our client is looking for a Dentist to join our clients’ team in a thriving, modern five-chair practice in Hobart. You’ll be supported by experienced clinicians (including specialised services on-site/visiting), a structured mentorship approach, and regular professional development to keep your career moving forward.


About the position
This is an ideal opportunity for a general Dentist who wants genuine full books and a clinic that makes it easy to focus on patient care. Our client is open to permanent full-time or a minimum 6-month contract


Clinical scope (general dentistry focus):

• Comprehensive exams, check-ups, cleans, and preventive care
• Restorative dentistry including composite fillings and crowns
• Emergency appointments and pain management
• Extractions and routine oral surgery
• Root canal therapy (as per your experience and preferences)
• Treatment planning and patient education
• Opportunities to expand into implants, orthodontics, whitening and more (supported by systems and team capability)

Practice features and support:

• In-house sedation services
• Visiting specialists and access to advanced clinical input
• OPG imaging
• Modern orthodontic and implant systems
• Structured graduate training + mentorship program (excellent for ADC grads)
• Regular CPD, mentorship and monthly support meetings
• External call centre support drawing from a large patient base to keep books full

Key Requirements

• AHPRA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
• Confident across general dentistry and routine procedures
• Strong communication and patient-first approach
• Team-oriented, reliable, and committed to quality outcomes
• Open to permanent or minimum 6-month contract engagement
• International applicants welcome (support available for the right candidate)
