Our client is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant who takes pride in delivering outstanding clinical support and contributing to a smooth and efficient practice.

About the Position This opportunity is ideal for a confident and capable Dental Assistant who thrives in a busy clinical environment and enjoys working alongside experienced Dentists.

You will play a key role in supporting daily clinical operations, ensuring efficient patient flow and assisting with a broad range of dental treatments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality chairside assistance across general and restorative dentistry
• Assisting with procedures such as extractions, root canal therapy, crowns, bridges and fillings
• Supporting more complex procedures where required, depending on the practice's services
• Preparing treatment rooms and anticipating the clinical needs of Dentists
• Maintaining excellent infection prevention and sterilisation standards
• Managing dental instruments, materials and clinical supplies
• Providing reassurance and support to patients before, during and after treatment
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and supporting efficient appointment workflows
• Assisting less experienced team members where appropriate

Key Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant, ideally within Australia
• Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting is highly regarded
• Strong chairside assisting skills across general dental procedures
• Sound knowledge of infection control, sterilisation and clinical protocols
• Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced dental environment
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach to patient care
• A proactive attitude and ability to work independently when required
• Experience with dental practice management software is advantageous
