The Opportunity: We’re seeking enthusiastic
RMOs and JMOs to support general medicine teams – including
Cardiology – within the
Northern NSW Local Health District.
You'll gain valuable inpatient experience in supportive hospital settings under the guidance of senior clinicians. Shifts typically run
0800 to 1800, across a rotating Monday to Sunday roster. Whether you’re looking for ad-hoc weekend shifts or multi-day blocks, flexible dates are available throughout 2025.
- Up to $200 per shift
- Exposure to cardiology and general medical presentations
- Daily supervision and mentoring from senior medical staff
- Great fit for PGY2+ doctors building confidence in medicine
Clinical Environment: You'll join hospitals with:
- Dedicated general medical and cardiology units
- Opportunities to assist with admissions, ward rounds, and discharges
- Clear escalation pathways and multidisciplinary support
- A collaborative team environment ideal for junior doctors
Eligibility Criteria: - AHPRA Registration
- PGY2+ with recent hospital experience
- NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
